Today I fly with Gisela to Berlin and then we move on to do a week with family in Germany where she was born. It will be a time of reflecting and recalling. That's what R&R means for startup leaders. They practice it, make it a lifestyle.
"All work and no play make Jack a dull boy" is the old adage. I'm sure all cultures on this planet have learned that. Without R&R startup leaders become no fun to work with. That ends the adventure. People quietly leave on move on to a place where R&R is practiced.
So I leave you with this tip: Plan holes in your work schedule over the next 60 days. Surprise the ones you love: "I'm going to spend 100% of the following days with only you." It will do remarkable things to you. And to them. It will boost your unfair advantage.
I'm back home on the 19th. Will post while in Berlin.
Meanwhile, I wish you The Best on your Adventure!
